All equipment is available for hire through our online booking form. Anyone wishing to book time slots will need to be fully inducted into each piece of kit they wish to use.
Rototext 6 head textile carousel, with flash dryer and tunnel dryer. The two dryers are to be used using our honesty box system at £5 per hour
1 large Fox Graphic vacuum table can print up to A0 size and is ideal for poster, paper, and editioning purposes. This is to be used with one of the two drying racks.
1 small vacuum table can print up to A2 size comfortably, this is ideal for small print runs, paper printings and one off prints. It is a good press to learn the basics of flatbed printing.
Hawthorn etching press can print up to A3 size. Designed for intaglio printing ( etching, collagraph, drypoint, monoprint plates) and can be adapted for relief printing (woodcut and lino blocks). Water bath and drying boards are included in the use of the press.
Fabric Table
Large fabric printing table 150cm x 300cm, this is used for printing large flat fabric printing, with specialised rubber padding for ease of printing.
Table top clamps
6 table top clamp stations to print one off's, small print runs of up to A2 size and smaller. Ideal for getting to grips with the basics of flat work printings. No booking is required for using this equipment.
Exposure unit
Ultra Violet Exposure unit to shoot artwork/filmwork onto screen with a max image size of A1. Works well with different stencil types, hand made and computer generated. There is a 50p charge per screen using the honesty box system.
Computer system
Mac G4 and Mac Duo Intel both with Adobe CS (Photoshop & Illustrator). A3 & A4 scanner for use with the computers. For print outs Epson 1400 printer that can develop A3+ size filmwork. Specialist film is available to purchase at £2.50 per A3 sheet including ink.
