Welcome to Printhaus! Our studio gives printmakers access to great equipment in a friendly community. New to printing? Start with our Beginners Course to learn the basics before becoming a member

REQUIREMENTS

Open to ages: 18+ yrs

Experience level: Prior experience needed. Members should be comfortable working independently

Email: A Gmail account is required for booking studio time (example: name@gmail.com)

Induction: All new members must complete an induction session to get familiar with our space and equipment. Don't worry - this is included in your membership fee!

ACCESS

  • The studio is accessible in line with Chapter’s open hours and is open to members 7-days a week, 8.30am-10pm. Including bank holiday weekends

  • Access to the ground floor and first-floor studio is via key-code pad. Members are given the codes during the induction

  • Members book studio time and equipment through Google Calendar, which regulates all studio access

  • Time on print presses and machinery is capped, but preparatory work (screen coating, drawing) has no time limit

  • Personal user IDs on both riso machines with self-service top-ups

  • Work independently at your own pace with support available when needed

  • Access to large table space, drawing materials and large light-box

  • Access to A3 scanner and A3+ ink-jet printer

MATERIALS

  • Riso Masters/Copies can be topped up on the day or ordered in advance

  • The shop is based on the first floor studio and accessible 7 days a week

  • The shop stocks a range of riso papers, members can bring their own paper.

  • Payment is by card with minimum £1 spend

SUBSCRIPTION 

Subscriptions start and end on the 1st of the month. Choose your start date at the check-out

STANDARD

  • 3 months - £130 inc. induction (£25 induction + £105 subscription)

  • 6 months - £185 inc. induction (£25 induction + £160 subscription)

  • 1 year - £215 inc. induction (£25 induction + £190 subscription)

CONCESSIONS

Concessions available for seniors 60+ and students with valid ID (drivers licence, passport or student ID). Submit my ID
